Our 1st morning in Bali

Wake up at 5am and arrive Sanur beach at 6am. The sunrise begin at 7am. It is a beautiful beach, and beautiful sunrise. My 1st morning in Bali !!

Sanur.
On the southeastern side of Bali, Sanur beach is easily reachable from Denpasar, about a 5 to 10 minute drive. Sanur is an excellent site to watch the sun rises, as you jog along the white sandy beach. Being one of the first resort developed in Bali, Sanur maintains its traditions. Only a stone thrown away from the beach, ancient temples stand as solemn as they have been in centuries past.

Accommodation in Bali

The room at my wife's friend's house is big and very comfortable.
I like their bath room, there actually have the natural light from above at the day time, which can save the electricity during day time. Nothing much to say, it just so comfortable.

Accommodation in Bali

This trip we went to Bali, we didn't booked for any hotels or villa, cause my wife's friend is living there. So for this trip, we manage to save up the money for accommodation. The place that we live a lot look like a villa, with a Bali style garden and design. And there's a small river and forest beside the house, which made the place cooler. The location is inside the housing area, so it is very quite and green, and at night can hear the sounds of the insects and smoothes wind blowing. It is sure a very comfortable places for staying.

Our first dinner at Bali
We had this dinner at Pelangi restaurant some where at Gatot Subroto Barat.

I order a set of Mie with Charsiow (BBQ Pork) and my wife oder a set of Mie Jamur (mushroom). The taste is so good, so nice, and the portion is just nice.

I order a drink call Soda Gembira (Happy), which looks like the 3rd picture. The taste of the soda is good, you will really feeel gembira after drinking it.

AirAsia In Flight Service
The airasia in-flight service are very very slooow....

Not long after take off, they started their in flight service for the pre-purchased passenger, then only serves others. But the service is way tooo slow, they sotpped every row for a long long time. I think the passenger face a same problem like me, the meal that we request are all sold out. I want to purchase for the fried rice with satay, but the flight attendant said that is finish, so i had to loook at the menu again and ask for Sri Melur Jaya Nasi Briyani with Curry Chicken RM8 and my wife purchased a Combo Set A, which include Pak Nasser's Nasi Lemak with green tea for RM10

The taste for both of the meal is ok, just the portion is too small. The picture on the menu card looks really good, but the outcome is way way behind though. Can we sue them for not being honest?

On the return flight from Denpasar Bali, i tried to purchased for the fried rice with satay, but again they said is finish. And i order Sri Melur Jaya Roti Jala for my wife also finish. So i ask for the nasi lemak and Sri Melur Jaya Nasi Briyani, the answer also finished..... So i just asked what is left for us, the the flight attendant reply that only left Hot Dog, Sandwiches and Chicken Rice. So we choose to try their newest meal on board by paying Rp42000. i gave them Rp50000 and the balance they gave back to me is RM1...So it is quite expensive that you purchased airasia item by using foreign currencies...Won't do it again.

And the chicken rice meal, please don't purchase that, when i opend up, i saw few small small little piece of chicken meat and some veggie. almost cry out T_T...

Airasia is promoting so call "Red Heart, Green Mind" campaign, but the set meal they using are all plastic, the container is plastic, the spoon and folks are plastic also. How can they saying that they are green mind? Just because the plane they use produce less polution? They system are less paper and bla bla bla......it is a shame though.

One of the thing not good with Airasia is free sitting. That's why before the plane arrive, there's already a queue. And when the time for boarding, those who didn't queue up all will squeeze to the front, and making the exit very very crowded.

AirAsia din't proveide any IFE on board, so i bring my own IFE on board, Sony PSP. Watching Doraemon on board...

It is a full flight to Bali. The seat pitch is quite ok for me :) but the for the westerner will be very tight, like the lady seat beside my wife, after seating down hardly to wake up. Luckily the whole flight no need to go to toilet.

And Airasia landing and take off very rough, like flying fighter plane.


Landing at Ngurah Rai International Airport at 1945pm safely, and because Airasia didn't provide enough immigration card, so we need to fill it before immigration, and the immigration also very slow, by the time going out the airport is nearly 2025pm. The airport also very hot, the air conditioning is not functioned well.

We took the airport taxi to Denpasar, which cost us Rp100000. Remember to purchase it at the counter, cause we did try to ask other taxi drivers hanging around the airport, they ask for Rp12000.

Monkey Forest

After visiting the Pura Ulun Danu, we were heading to Monkey Forest
( i not sure which monkey forest, maybe is Sangeh?)...to see monkeysss...

Frankly speaking, this is a unpleasant trip for us, why?
Because the place got a lot of so call 'tour guide', which actually
is the shop owner who later force you to buy expensive staff from them..
which the tour just take some photos and that is, no explain or else..
and actually just a very small place which no need 'tour guide'

Only this place give us some bad experience,
other then that, still perfect!!
